James Doyle, PT, OCS
Jim graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in 1972. He received his physical therapy degree at Howard University in 1979. Jim has practiced outpatient orthopedics for over 25 years. He is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He was the senior physical therapist on tour with the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) 2004-2005.
Jennifer M. Taylor, MPT, COMT
Jennifer graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1999 from the University of Delaware. She initially practiced at Johns Hopkins Hospital, focusing on neurosurgery, neurology, spine, and orthopedics. She has practiced outpatient physical therapy in Annapolis since 2001. She became a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist in 2008. Jennifer was an Advisory Board Member to the Southern Maryland Branch of the Arthritis Foundation 2009-2011. She has finished all of her course work for APTA’s CAPP-OB certificate (specialization in pre- and post-natal physical therapy), and is working on a case study.
Amanda Beal, DPT, COMT
Amanda graduated from University of Pittsburgh in 2005 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Rehab Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She has practiced outpatient physical therapy in Annapolis since 2005. She has a specialty in vestibular rehabilitation. She also is an avid runner and currently coaches long distance runners at Chesapeake High School. She recently became a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist.
Traci Carslon, MPT, DPT
Traci graduated from Shenandoah University with her Master of Physical Therapy in 1999 and then her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2004. Traci has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since 1999. She also specializes in pre- and post-natal physical therapy and she is a certified pre- and post-natal fitness educator.
Ann Ruppel, MS, OTR/L
Ann graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology in 1979 and then earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1982. She has been practicing for over 25 years. Part-time outpatient occupational therapist, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of a predominately adult and teenage population in the area of orthopedics, neurologic, and arthritic diagnoses, with an emphasis on hands, including custom splinting
Michele Amini, PT
Michele graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy in 1986. She has been practicing for over 25 years. She is a part-time outpatient physical therapist, focusing on the evaluation and treatment in the areas of orthopedics and neurology.
Elizabeth Stauffer, DPT
Elizabeth graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelors of Public Health in 2002 where she played on the Division I lacrosse team. She earned her Master’s of Health Science in Human Nutrition at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2006. Elizabeth earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Maryland in 2010. She worked as a physical therapist at Anne Arundel Medical Center in the joint center where she gained experience with hip and knee replacements. She has been practicing outpatient physical therapy since November 2010.
Kyle D. McIntyre, PT, DPT
Kyle, a Philadelphia-area native, graduated from Arcadia University with a B.A. in Biology in 2009 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in January 2012. His clinical interest has always been orthopedics and sports, having played lacrosse in high school and college and ice hockey as a youth. While in graduate school, Kyle served at a pro bono clinic in West Philadelphia and led exercise classes for Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis patients.
In February 2012, at the APTA's Combined Sections Meeting in Chicago, Kyle presented his graduate-level research on sit-to-stand strategies in elders with Parkinson's. In addition, he was published in April 2012 in the journal Ethology for his undergraduate research on chemical-mediated predator avoidance in the European House Cricket.
Kyle is an avid Philadelphia 76ers, Eagles, and Phillies fan, and enjoys boating and spending time with his dog, Coach, and his cat, Fivvers.
Megan Anderson, DPT
Megan graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and in 2009 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has a special interest in Women’s Health Physical Therapy, specifically with incontinence, pelvic floor pain, and more. She is working toward her Women’s Health Specialty Certification.
